Gerard Surette 1944 - 2005 GRANDE-DIGUE, NB - Gerard "Gerry" Surette, 60, of Grande-Digue, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Grande-Digue, he was the son of Rita (née: Hebert) and the late Leopold Surette. Mr. Surette had been employed by Alliance Building Contractors and was a parishioner of La Visitation Roman Catholic Church. Besides his mother, Rita of GrandeDigue; he is survived by his wife, Bernice (née: Caissie); four children, Nicole of Leominster, Mass, Gary (Chantale) of St. Antoine, Rachelle and Mathieu, both of Grande-Digue; one sister, Lorraine (Daniel) Bourque of Shediac; six brothers, Reginald (Jeannette) of Haute Aboujagane, Leonard, Bernard (Rosella), Jean-Louis (Exelda), PaulEmile and Maurel (Brenda) all of Grande-Digue; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Remi and Jacinthe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from the Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, 532-1050 on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 from 7 to 9pm and on Thursday from 9am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 10am. Interment in Parish Cemetery, GrandeDigue, NB.
