Thelma A. Varner SACKVILLE, NB - Thelma A. Varner, 68, Sackville, N.B. died Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Lewis) Hodder. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Varner; daughters, Anne Varner (Nick Rodger) and Teri (Bill) Beghin; son, Blaine (Monica) Varner; grandchildren, Dylan Varner-Hartley, Adelia and Nell Rodger, Monica and Lauren Beghin; brothers, Stanley (Miggie) Hodder, Kenneth (Sandra) Hodder; sisters, Ethel (Everett) Penney, Carolyn Hodder, Hazel (Alex) Ross, Vera (Paul) Keifer, Diane (Butch) Atchison; sister-in-law, Margaret (Bruce) McKean; special aunt Hazel O'Connell; friend since childhood, Patsy Grant. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brother, Roy (Gwen) Hodder; sister, Marilyn (James) Stevenson; one sister and one brother in infancy. Following cremation, visitation will be held Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Funeral at 2:00 p.m., Rev. K. Stockall officiating, all at Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, N.B. Family flowers only by request.
