Gilles Leger 1946 - 2005 NOTRE DAME, NB - Gilles Leger, 58, of Notre Dame, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2005 in NotreDame. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of Marguerite (née: Goguen) and the late Yvon Leger. Mr. Leger was the former co-owner of Church Carpets in Moncton, he was also a parishioner of Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church. Besides his mother, Marguerite of Notre-Dame, he is survived by his wife, Jeannette (née: Caissie); one daughter, Charline of Notre-Dame; two sons, Charles (Sophie) of Saint John and Marc (Remi) of Toronto; four sisters, Noëlla (Réné) Cormier, Sylvia (Hervé) Leger and Rose-Ella (John) LeBlanc, all three of Notre-Dame and Raymonde (Alderice) Leger of Dieppe; six brothers, Jean-Marie (Lucille), of Leominster, Mass., Rhéal (Pauline) of Fitchburg, Mass., Valmond (Dianne) of Gardner, Mass., Emery (Muriel) of Hubbardston, Mass., Yvon Jr. (Louise) of Gardner, Mass., Royal (Pam) of East Templeton, Mass.; two grandchildren, Jennifer and James as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Yvon in 1982; an infant brother, Royal in 1956 and also by two brothersin-law, Emery Cormier in 1994 and Euclide LeBlanc in 2001. Visitation will be held from the NotreDame Parish Funeral Salon, on Thursday, January 6, 2005, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7pm to 9pm and also on Friday from 10am until time of service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame de Kent, on Friday, January 7, 2005, at 11:30 am.
