Regina Caissie 1921 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Regina Caissie, 83, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at her residence. Born in Dieppe, she was the daughter of the late Florien and the late Marie (née: Bourgeois) Gauvin. Mrs. Caissie had been a CWL member for over 40 years, she had volunteered her time to various local organizations including the Canadian Red Cross. She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Caissie of Villa Providence; two daughters, Stella (Edward) Gauvin of Melford, Mass. and Linda (Alyre) Cormier of Dieppe; one brother, Clorice Gauvin of Cocagne; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Caissie was predeceased by her son, Roger; three sisters, Florence, Eva and Florence; four brothers, Edgar, Clarence, Arthur and Christophe and also by one great grandson. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Friday, January 7, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse-del'Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10 am. Interment in NotreDame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
