Dorice Melanson 1922 - 2005 SHEDIAC BRIDGE, NB - Dorice Melanson, 83, of Rte 134, Shediac Bridge, N.B. passed away at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital after a sudden illness. Born in Sackville, N.B. on January 6, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Alyre Richard and the late Marie Beaudry. She was retired from Villa Providence Shediac and attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue, N.B. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Melanson; two daughters, Marie Petrella (Dominic) New Newington, Conn, Jeanette Landry (Ronald) Shediac Bridge; four sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Montréal, Que, Ovila (Anita), Valerie (Dianne) both from Shediac Bridge, Léon (Juliette), Cocagne; five sisters, Rita Phillips (Tony) Thunder Bay, Ont, Thérèse Johnson (Philippe) St-Petersburg, Florida, Jeanne Eva Richard, Iles Perrot Qué, Geraldine Denault (Marcel) Iles-Perrot, Qué, Aline Wade (Joe) Withbay, Ont; four brothers, Valmond Richard (Evelyne) Cap-Pèlé, Yvon Richard (Lisa) Shediac Bridge, Camille Richard (Gloria) Shediac Bridge, Alfred Richard (Lucille) SteAnselm; 10 grandchildren, Sonia, Micheal, Joanne, Daniel, Denis, Rachelle, Monique, Nicole, Mario, Carole. Resting at Cooperative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, Shediac Bridge, Tuesday, January 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande Digue on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2pm. Interment will be held at Parish Cemetery at a later date.
