Pheobe Elizabeth (Tapley) Horne SAINT JOHN, NB - Pheobe Elizabeth (Tapley) Horne passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, January 10, 2005, widow of Albert E. Horne, Jr., of St. Stephen, NB. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Tucker) Tapley. For 12 years she served on the Board of Fundy Transition and also served Meals on Wheels. Survived by two sons, Michael Horne (Darlene) of St. Stephen, NB and David Horne (Lana Hosian) of Moncton, NB; four grandchildren, Christopher, Kathryn, Julie and Jeffrey; two brothers, James (Bud) Tapley of St. Stephen, NB and Had Tapley (Irma) of St. Stephen, NB; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Bell. No visitation will be held by request. Funeral Service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen, NB (506-4661844) on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2 pm with Rev. Boyce Martin officiating. Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, Fundy Transition or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
