Maurice Jake Maurice Jake, 90, of Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, Monday January 10, 2005. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Soloman and Bella Jake. Maurice was a general merchant in the Moncton area, a veteran of World War II having served overseas with the R.C.A.F., a member of Tiferes Israel Synagogue and the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6. Maurice will be sadly missed by his daughter, Bernice Antelman; grandchildren, Jennifer and Mark, Clarksville, Maryland; sister, Sarah Black, Halifax, NS; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Freda Selick. Funeral service will be held at Tiferes Israel Synagogue, Moncton, Wednesday, January 12, 2005, 2:00 PM, Rabbi Ellis officiating.
