Alonzo LeBlanc

Alonzo LeBlanc 1936 - 2005 Alonzo LeBlanc, 68, of Boudreau West passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a lengthy illness. Born in Dupuis Corner, January 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Adolphe LeBlanc and the late Eugénie Boudreau. Alonzo was a former school teacher, and a past employee with Social Services of N. B. and Canada Manpower. He was a past president and a former member of the Shediac Richelieu Club, a past president and council member with La Caisse Populaire de Westmorland Beauséjour and a volunteer with the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Shediac. Alonzo will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Stella (Allain) LeBlanc; three daughters, France Cormier (Roger) of Saint Antoine, Joanne LeBlanc (Paul-Émile) of Grand-Barachois, Maria Gallant (Paul) of Shediac; two sons, Marcel (Rachel) of Shediac, Daniel (Lisa) of Bathurst; three sisters, Hectorine Brun of Shediac, Marie Bourgeois of Cambridge, ON., Jeannette Gautreau of Toronto, ON.; three brothers, Alcide (Simonne) and Raymond (Eva) all of Grand-Barachois, Normand of Shediac; eight grandchildren, Marc, Mireille, Nicholas, Mélanie, Joline, Yves, Lucie, Jérémie and one great granddaughter Jaëlle. He was predeceased by one sister Thérèse and by two brothers, Laurie and Roger. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Friday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
