Herbert Norman "Herb" Grealey STELLARTON, NS - Herbert Norman "Herb" Grealey, 77, of George Avenue, Stellarton, NS, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 15, 2005 in his son's residence in Linacy. Born in Stellarton, he was the son of the late William and Lina (Atkinson) Grealey. He was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton, and an Associate member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 28, Stellarton. Herb had worked in the Alan Shaft Mine and retired from the former Hawker Siddeley, Paint Shop Department. Surviving are son, Glen (Patsy), Linacy; daughters, Marlene (Bill) Kehoe, Westville, and Janice (Jim) Pollock, Pickering, ON; sisters, Winnifred Pariseau, Montreal, Frances (Barrie) Hould, Riverview, NB, Helen (James) Barlett, Nevada, USA; brother, Donald (Shirley), Lincoln, NB; sisters-in-law, Stella (Garnet) Grealey, Stellarton, Valda (William) Grealey, Westville, Norma (Ted) Seagull, London, ON, and Gayle Waye (Ron Goodin), Miramichi, NB; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Emma (Jones) Grealey; step-mother, Winnifred (Madden) Grealey; sisters and brothers-inlaw, Pearl (James) Reid, Thelma (Gerard) Sampson; brothers, Garnet and William; two brothers in infancy; nephews, David and Jonathan Hould; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helena (William) Grealey, Gerald Pariseau, and William Jones. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and The Royal Canadian Legion will hold their service 6:30 p.m., all Tuesday in the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in Christ Anglican Church with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Interment will be in Christ Anglican Cemetery.Family Flowers Only.
