Margaret Downs CAMPBELLTON, NB - Margaret Downs, 88, passed away at the Campbellton Nursing Home on January 20, 2005. Born May 31, 1916 in Matapedia, PQ, she was the daughter of the late Alexander (Sandy) Pratt and Bertha Bulmer. She was a member of St. John's United Church, Broadlands, PQ. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Needle (Elmer), Saint John, NB, Ann Smith (Doug), Lindsay, ON; daughter-in-law, Sheila, New Richmond, PQ; sons, Billy (Marilyn) Point de Bute, NB, Gary (Audrey) Peterborough, ON; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Bill; son, Tommy; brothers, Willie, Irvine, Pete, Tad, Porter; sisters, Isobel Whitman, Jean Babcock, Bertha Copeland, Bernice Targett, and Thelma Downs. Funeral will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Gregan officiating.
