At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2009, of Soper McPhee of Stratford and formerly of Alexandra, age 77 years. Soper will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Lillian Valentine and Beryl Vignale; his nephew, Rick (Debra) Steevens and cousins, Edna (Reg) McCarvell, June (George) Scantlebury, Marilyn (Robert) Lehmann, Deanna Robertson, Carol (Dave) McGibbon and his many friends in Alexandra and area. Soper’s wish was to be cremated. No visitation by request. Interment will follow at a later date. Our thanks to all who helped Soper, especially Gary, Judy, Connie, Brenda, Dr. Karen McNally and the staff of Unit 2 for their care and support.
