Robert George COCAGNE, NB - Robert George, 63, husband of Simone (Daigle) George, of Cocagne, NB passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Monday, January 24, 2005. Born in Montréal, Québec on June 4, 1941 he was the son of the late Emmet George and the late Anita Brown. He was a long time employee of R&B A Ryan in Labrador and retired in New Brunswick. Robert was a member of the Atlantic Salmon Association, he loved sharing his camp with his long time friend Pat Maher, and fishing on the Miramichi with his buddies from Salar Haven. Robert is survived by his wife, Simone George; one sister, Wendy Davies of Las Vegas; three brothers, Keith of Portland, ME, Gordon and Christopher, both of Montréal; several nephews and nieces. Resting at Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne with visitation on Friday, January 28 from 2 to 3:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne, NB on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
