Harry Edison Geldart 1926 - 2005 Harry Edison Geldart passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2005. Born on November 21, 1926, he was the son of the late Sydney and Leitia (Bulmer) Geldart. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather and brother. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Muriel (Rawlines) Geldart and children; James (Linda), Donnie (Lorna), Elizabeth (Laurie), Charles and special friend Ron, Nancy and Linda (Levi); his grandchildren, Tammy, Harry Jr, Chris, Shawn, Jennifer, Travis and Jayme-Lynn; his great-grandchildren; Cody, Taylor, Damyan, Hayden and Nico; his brothers, Roy (Dale), Gordie (Florence); sisters, Mary (Claire), Jean (Ottis); ex-daughter-in-law, Gloria; exbrother-in-law, Bernie and all his nieces and nephews. Harry spent most of his life working for a bakery until he purchased his own. Later he became a bus driver, a taxi driver and he also was a volunteer fireman for Hose Company #2. Harry's greatest love was his family, playing cards and helping others. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers; John, Austin, Gerald and his sister, Evelyn. The family wishes to extend their Thank You and Gratitude to Dr. P. Stoddard and Dr. G. Dow and the Nursing Staff (5100) at the Moncton Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Harry. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, Friday, January 28, with visitation from 7:00 -9:00 PM. A funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held from the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the NB Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
