Hazel Hicks, of Sackville, occurred at The Sackvil Saturday
Hazel Hicks SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Hazel Hicks, of Sackville, occurred at The Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 29, 2005. Born in Cap Pele, she was a daughter of the late Damien and Annie (Gould) Brine. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Hazel will be sadly missed by two daughters, Rhoda (Hugh) Pervis, Dorchester, and Pauline (Lewis) Estabrooks, Centre Village; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a sister, Marceline (Carmel) Briggs, Truro, NS. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; six brothers, John, Edgar, Alphie, Willie, Adolphe and Eddie; and by sisters, Rita, Ida, Edna and Lena. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 11 am. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
