Ernest William Stuart
Ernest William Stuart 1920 - 2005 Ernest William Stuart, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital in Moncton on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the age of 84. Born in Scotch Settlement, NB, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Gray) Stuart. He was a veteran of WWII serving in Normandy (France), Belgium, Holland and Germany from 1941-1945. He later worked for the C.N. Police from 1959-1977, and was a member of Steeves Memorial United Church and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Steeves) Stuart; sons, Loyall Stuart (Elsie), William Stuart (Jane) and Brian Stuart (Kim); sisters, Jean Stuart, Dorothy Osburne and Audrey Stoddard; brother, Donald Stuart (Muriel); grandchildren, David, Dara, Trevor, Robbie and Ashley; great grandchildren, Sophie, Stephanie, Andrea and Connor. Predeceased by sisters, Helen Bridgeman and Alice Stuart; brothers, Percy, Edward, Roy and Russell. There will be no visitation at the family's request, Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brett Anningston officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Steeves Memorial United Church or the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
