Lawrence "Larry" Arbeau
Lawrence "Larry" Arbeau 1930 - 2005 Lawrence George Arbeau, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the age of 74. Born in Gray Rapids, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Nelson) Arbeau. After serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, he was self employed while living in Ontario. Upon returning to the Miramichi, he was the manager of Canex Service Station in CFB Chatham and then retired from KMart Miramichi as a manager. Larry and Elva were very active volunteers with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6. He also attended the United Church. He is survived by his wife, Elva (Sobey) Allison-Arbeau; daughters, Linda Arbeau (David) of Miramichi, Carolyn Arbeau of Calgary; stepdaughter, Katherine Vye (Derek) of Moncton; step-sons, Ronald Allison (Ruth) of Belgium, Donald Allison (Geralyn) of North Carolina, Ritchie Allison (Kathy), James Allison (Kathy), and Roland Allison (Paulette) all of Moncton; brother, Willis Arbeau (Geneva) of Fredericton, eight grandchildren, 12 stepgrandchildren and one great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette (Simard) Arbeau; brothers, Stanley, Edison, John and Fred Arbeau; sister, Sadie (Arbeau) Coughlan. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St., Moncton on Thursday, February 3, 2005 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Donald Arbeau officiating. Interment will be in St. Agnes Anglican Church Cemetery, Gray Rapids, NB in the spring. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
