Rev. Gerald Myers KINGSTON, NB - Rev. Gerald H. Myers of Kingston, NB, went to be with the Lord he faithfully served on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his family who dearly loved him. Born in 1941 in Halifax, NS, son of the late Hollis and Georgina (Geddes) Myers. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Donna (Cochrane) Myers; his sons and daughters and grandchildren, Debbie and Gary Evans, Melanie and Nicholas of Moncton, Andrew and Kelly Myers and Lauren of Sussex, Paul and Becky Rutherford and Bailey of Riverview, René and Miriam Robichaud, Emilie, Naomi and Maisey of Bristol, NB, and Rachel Myers of Moncton; two sisters, Marlene and Everett Dunfield of Fredericton, Donna and Max Rafuse of Chester, NS, nephews and nieces, one great niece, sister-inlaw, Deanna Cochrane, aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from United Baptist Bible Training School, Moncton, Gordon College and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Wenham, Mass. He was ordained in 1968 and pastored churches in NB and NS. He was currently interim pastor at Smithtown Baptist Church. Resting at Hampton Baptist Church with visitation Monday, February 14, 2005 from 2 to 9pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2005 2:00pm, at Hampton Baptist Church. Interment will be in Erb's Cove Baptist Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to Gideon Bibles, Smithtown Baptist Church or donor's choice would be appreciated. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Home (8325541), Hampton.
