Bliss K. MacDonald PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Bliss K. MacDonald, 93, of Port Elgin, occurred peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Westford Nursing Home. Born in Cadman's Corner, NB, he was a son of the late John and Bessie (Cadman) MacDonald. A former employee with CN Rail, he retired with 25 years of service. He was a member of Trinity United Church, Port Elgin, and a life member of the Baie Verte Senior Citizens Club. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Charolette (Harry) Trenholme, Baie Verte and Elizabeth (Allan) Crawford, Shediac Cape, NB; a son, Lawrence (Audrey), Moncton; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Stacey, Jason, Kenneth, Darlene, Joanne, Heather, and Krista; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Herman (Lillian), Woodstock. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (Mitton); and 10 brothers and sisters. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main Street, (364-1300) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at the Baie Verte United Church, on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 2 PM, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery in the spring.
