Cecil H. Targett SAINT
Cecil H. Targett SAINT JOHN, NB - Cecil H. Targett passed away at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home on Monday, February 14, 2005. Born April 10, 1909 in Targettville, NB. Cecil was the youngest son of the late John and Mina (Young) Targett and loving husband of the late Jean (Sinton) Targett. He resided at home and worked on the family farm for thirty years. He married and moved to Saint John where he was employed at the Saint John Dry Dock. Cecil and his wife Jean moved to Burlington, Mass. U.S.A. and was employed as a custodian at the Burlington High School until retirement. He and his wife returned to Saint John in 1980 to spend their retirement years. Cecil loved the outdoors, and while at the farm he helped his parents faithfully. His favorite hobbies were fishing and taking care of his horses. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Cecil was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Rebecca (Fred) Allain of Moncton, NB; nieces, nephews and cousins, and one special niece, Shirley McManus. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. By Cecil's request, there will be no visitations or Funeral Service at the funeral home, an early summer burial will take place at the Zion Presbyterian Cemetery, West Branch Kent Co.
