Passed peacefully away at her son's residence in Pouch Cove on March 1 2009. Surrounded by her loving family Eileen Connors (Coady) of Pouch Cove, 11 weeks short of her 89th birthday. Predeceased by her mother and father Denis and Mary Coady; husband Daniel, sons; William, Tommy, Denis, Cyril and Daughter Alice; seven brothers, three sisters, sons-in-law: Francis Manning and Kevin Furlong and grandson Kenny Furlong. Leaving to mourn are her children: Sandra Manning (Tony) Port Albernie, B.C., Kevin (Donna), Anna Murrin (Joseph), Mary Furlong, Leo (Hilda), Bobby, Bunnie Bradburry (Donnie) all of Pouch Cove, Gordon Thompson, MB, and Danny (Jill) Dartmouth, N.S. Daughter-in-law Kathleen Connors. 32 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law: Alice Shea, Mary Connors and Helen Coady, special nephew Tommy Connors (Sheila). As well as many nieces, nephews, special friends and card game buddies. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, March 4th, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Agnes Church. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Pouch Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Agnes Building Fund.
