Raymond Stanley Agnew

Raymond Stanley Agnew 1908 - 2005 Raymond Stanley Agnew, of McNair Manor, Moncton, and formerly of Peoples Park Tower, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the age of 96. Born in Harcourt, he was the son of the late David and Nettie (Bigley) Agnew. Retired from the Canadian National Railway as a trainman with 32 years of service, he was a member of the CN Pensioners, the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, the Moncton Senior Citizen Group and a former member of the Citation Trailer Club. He also attended Mountain View United Church. He is survived by daughters, Joyce Ogden (late Morris) of Moncton and Sylvia Killins (James) of Caledonia Mountain, Albert Co.; son, Kenneth Agnew (Jacqueline) of Moncton; sister, Hazel Gourley of Ingleside, ON; daughter-inlaw, Lynne Agnew of Burnaby, BC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife, Maybel (Kervin) Agnew; daughter, Gloria; sons, David and Raymond Jr.; a sister, Margaret Agnew and a brother, Earl Agnew. Visitation will be held from Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Monday, February 28, 2005 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service which will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mary Anningston officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations to the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
