Doris (Dolly) Wigmore 1925 - 2005 The death of Doris (Dolly) Wigmore, widow of the late John R. Wigmore, of Braemar Drive, Moncton occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 28, 2005. Born June 14, 1925 in SeaView, PEI she was the daughter of the late Atwood G. and Mary Jane (Adams) Blakeney. Doris was a homemaker and had attended St. Andrews Anglican Church, Moncton and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sunny Brae Legion a member of the Dart Team at the Legion, as well as a member of the Moncton Ladies Bowling League. She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Wigmore, Catherine Shea, and Christine Bourque all of Moncton; and one son, John and his wife, Holly Humphrey, also of Moncton; one sister, Winifred MacLean and a sister-in-law, Velma Blakeney (late William Blakeney) both of Kensington, PEI; eight grandchildren, Nathalie Wigmore, Michael Burke, Katia Wigmore, Kellie Shea, Colin Shea, Natasha Bourque, Jamie Burke and Curtis Shea; and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Predeceased by her husband, John R. in 1983; as well as her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Visiting hours will be held at Cadmans Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton on Thursday March 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Royal Canadian Legion, Sunny Brae Branch #52, Ladies Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday, at 6:45. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2005 at St Andrews Anglican Church, Elmwood Drive, Moncton at 11 am followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. For those who desire, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Lung Association.
