Alice Florence Wallace SUSSEX, NB - Mrs. Alice Florence Wallace of Kiwanis Nursing Home, formerly of Sussex Corner, NB, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the age of 79. Alice was the daughter of the late James and Elsie (Franklin) Cain and the beloved wife of the late Harold Thomas Wallace who passed away in 1991. Alice is survived by two daughters, Carol Gilmore, and husband Wilson of Shepody Road, and Dale Mercer, and her husband Calvin of Smith Creek; two sons, Jim, and his wife Carol of Moncton, and Terry, and his wife Flo of Riverview; two brothers, John Cain, and his wife Freda of Toronto, Ontario, and Tom, and his wife Carol of Toronto, Ontario; two sisters, Joan Pole, and her husband Gordon of Toronto, Ontario, and Esther Scott of Sussex Corner; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by three sisters, Hazel, Elsie and Florence; by her brother, James; and by her granddaughter, Tracy. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
