Nettie E. Hicks Nettie E. Hicks, 97, of McNair Manor, Riverview, and formerly of Berry Mills passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 13, 2005. Born in Steeves Mountain, daughter of the late George and Ada (Taylor) Johnson. Nettie was a retired School Teacher; she was a member of Steeves Mountain United Baptist Church, attended Berry Mills United Baptist Church and was associated with First United Baptist Church. She was a former member of Berry Mills W.M.S., the Ladies Guild, former choir member and Sunday School Teacher, member of the Provincial UBWMU and was a graduate of Fredericton Provincial Normal School. Nettie will be sadly missed by her sons, Paul (Jean), Ralph (Donna), Fredericton, Dale (Marjorie), Allison, Clyde (Sharon), Riverview, Roger (Barbara), Guelph, ON; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Steeves, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Clyde A. Hicks (1997); grandson, Troy (1992); sisters, Edna, Annie, Zella, Rose, Ida, and Ethel; brothers, Lorimer, Milton, Thomas and Gerald. No visitation by request. Memorial service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), with date and time to be announced. Interment Steeves Mountain Cemetery.
