Vivian Elaine Rossiter 1944 - 2005 ALMA, NB - Vivian Elaine Rossiter, 60, of Alma passed away on March 26, 2005 after a very courageous battle with cancer at The Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her side. Vivian was born in Hillsborough on June 16, 1944 the daughter of Georgia (O'Connor) Tower and the late Vernon "Bun" Tower. Vivian was the type of person who loved life and she was always up for a challenge. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. One of Vivian's favorite hobbies was oil painting. Most of all she loved times spent with her family. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She truly was excited every time her grandchildren came through the door; her face would light up as she looked forward to playing and just spending time with them. She treasured all of her family and extended family, always being there for everyone when needed. She was a very special lady who will never be forgotten and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her mother, Georgia Tower of Hillsborough; her devoted husband, Hilyard Rossiter of Alma; children, Troy Milton (Julie) of Saint John, Jeff Milton (Tammy) of Riverview, Tanya Melanson (Andrew) of Riverview, Vernon Rossiter (Rhonda) of Alma; her step-children, Peter Rossiter of Alma, David Rossiter (Linda) of Alma, Darren Rossiter of BC, and Patricia Rossiter of Saint John; three sisters, Gwen Crossman of Riverview, Sandra Parker (Edward) of Weldon, and Gail Woodworth (Donald) of Riverview; and by her precious 15 grandchildren; also by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by the Milton and Rossiter families where she held a very special place in their hearts. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her first husband, Gary Milton. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the St. Stephen's United Church, Alma on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2pm with Dr. Douglas MacEachern of Moncton officiating. Interment will be held in the Alma United Cemetery, Alma. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Alma Recreation Center for further sharing of memories and refreshments. Donations to the St. Stephen's United Church or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
