Albert Joseph Roy ROGERSVILLE, NB - Mr. Albert Joseph Roy, of Collette, passed away at the Foyer Assomption Nursing Home in Rogersville on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the age of 97. Born in Rogersville, Albert was the son of the late Arthur and Emilie (Doucette) Roy. Albert was a millwright and carpenter by trade. Albert attended the Notre Dame de Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Collette and served on the Parish Council and Credit Union in Collette. Albert is survived by one daughter, Magella Best (Noel) of Oshawa; three sons, Lionel (Isabelle) of Grand Sault, Arnel (Lorraine) of Rogersville, Albeo (Etiennette) of Collette; one sister, Ernestine Gaudet (Ben) of Rogersville; one brother, Aurele (Aurore) of Rogersville; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Louise (Gaudet), Albert was predeceased by one son, Fernand; eight brothers, Oscar, Leo, Henri, Alexi, Benoit, Eloi, Joseph and George; two sisters, Elmina and Lucie. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Francois de Sale Roman Catholic Church Chapel in Rogersville on Thursday, April 21, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 A.M. from St. Francois de Sale Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville with Father Savio Mazerolle officiating. The funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St., telephone 622-7741.
