Timothy Douglas Richardson

Timothy Douglas Richardson 1991 - 2005 "God's Precious Angel" God called Tim home to be with him on May 1, 2005. He passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital with his loving and caring family by his side, after a very courageous battle with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. Tim was born in Moncton on December 19, 1991 the son of Angela Richardson and R.J. Wilkins. Tim was a student at Hillsborough Elementary School before his illness and attended the Victory Bible Baptist Church in Hillsborough. He enjoyed playing basketball, riding his bike with mom and dad, having barbeques with his family and fishing with grampy and mom, and he also enjoyed helping Nanny prepare the catch for supper. He enjoyed nature and being outdoors. He had a special interest in Dinosaurs and Monster Trucks. Most of all Tim loved being with his family. He loved the times spent with his little sister, Twyla and brother, Izac, they took great pride in trying to help Tim whenever they could. Tim was known for his ability to always have a smile and to encourage those around him. He was a very special little soldier and mommy's little angel, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted parents, Angela and R.J. of Weldon; his loving sister, Twyla and brother, Izac both at home; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Patricia Richardson of Albert Mines; paternal grandparents Bob and Lena Langille of NS; step-paternal grandparents, Bev Charters (Terry) of Moncton and Richard Wilkins of Moncton; great grandparents, Raymond and Ruby Arsenault of Moncton; great grandmother, Velma Elliott of Sackville, NS; step-great grandmother, Estella Paige of Moncton; special uncle, Derrick Richardson of Albert Mines; aunt, Donna Langille of NS and great aunt, Heather of NS; great uncle, Richard and great aunt, Alice of NS. A private memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating and Rev. Andrew Jardine assisting. Internment will be held in the Harrison Cemetery, Elgin, NB. Donations to the Metachromatic Leukodystrophy Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family (cards and information available at the funeral home). To the Children's Wish Foundation who sent Tim and his family to Florida. To the IWK Children's Hospital, all the nurses and Dr. Gordon and Jill Beis, all your help was truly appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to all Tim's girlfriends of Extra Mural and to all his caretakers who helped throughout Tim's illness.
