83 years old. Completed his life's journey on August 9, 2008 at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Andrew was predeceased by his devoted wife Josephine Mary on May 11, 2008; his son James, lost at sea in 1995 and three brothers; James, William and Francis. Left with loving memories are daughters Barbara Rhymes (Gordon), Peggy, Andrea and Brenda Oakley, Madonna Whalen (Larry), Debbie and Darlene Oakley; son Mark Oakley; stepdaughters: Betty (Karl), Charmaine (Bob) and Joanne Summers: stepsons: Harry (Gail), John (Justina), David (Marjorie), Jim (Sharon) and Albert (Carolyn). Andrew also enjoyed the love of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many relatives who will fondly remember his journey. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
