J. Harold MacLean
J. Harold MacLean 1925 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - J. Harold MacLean, 80, of Cunard Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Christopher MacLean and Marry Ellen (Cahill) MacLean. Harold was a member of Branch #3 Royal Canadian Legion, a member of the Royal Canadian Navy and Veteran of World War II. He was a retired Instrumentation Technician from the former Fraser's Pulp Mill and N.B. Power. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Connie (Murdock) MacLean; three sons, Chris (Lillian) of Napan, Kevin (Debbie) of Fredericton, and David of Miramichi; two daughters, Carolyn (Norm) Haché of Moncton and Cheryl (Mark) Noel of Miramichi; six grandchildren, Heather, David, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, and Nicholas; and one great granddaughter, Kaylie; sisters, Lylla Campbell of Ottawa and Margaret Rowe of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with family and friends will be held at Maher's Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 11am from Saint Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, with Fr. John Fraser officiating. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Michael's Building Fund or the memorials of ones choice will be appreciated by the family.
