Gerald M. Steeves Gerald M. Steeves, 76, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 13, 2005. Born in Moncton, son of the late Carl and Florence (Cameron) Steeves. Gerald was retired from the Moncton Fire Department (Salvage Corp) with 30 years service. He was a former employee of Dominion Stores, Moncton, former member of the Royal Canadian Dragoons (Canadian Army) and was a member of Moncton Legion # 6.He also enjoyed time with his family, grandchildren, and spending time at the family cottage. Gerald will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Shirley (Wolfe) Steeves; sons, Robert (Bob) (Diane), Hillsborough, Brian (Tammey), Riverview, Brad (Nicole), Moncton; grandchildren, Sarah-Anne, Royce, Victoria, Brendan, Jeremy; sister, Doreen Roth (Paul), Truro, NS; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Allison and William; sisters, Louise, Eileen and Lorraine. In keeping with Gerald's wishes, there will be no public visiting hours or Funeral Service. Private family service to be held. In Gerald's memory, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Moncton Headstart Foundation or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
