Laurie J. LeBlanc Laurie J. LeBlanc, 82, of Essex Street, Moncton, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born March 19, 1923 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Émile and Alvrina (Doiron) LeBlanc. He was employed at The Moncton Hospital before retirement. A veteran of W.W. 2, Laurie served overseas, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6. He is survived by his wife, Flavie (Richard) LeBlanc; daughter, Lorraine Babineau and her husband Clarence; son, Léo-Paul and his wife Pearl; three grandchildren, Daniel (Monique Dufour), Denise (Luc Bourgeois), Luc (Chelsea Coster); son-in-law, Normand Doiron; sister, Lorraine LeBlanc, all of Moncton; many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Linda Doiron; brothers, Alyre and Sylvain. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Dominion Street, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
