George Edgar Newcomb LANGLEY, BC - George Edgar of Langley, BC passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on January 2, 2004. He was born to Fred James Newcomb and Annie (Logan) Newcomb on June 14, 1914 in St. John, NB. He is survived by his former wife, Beulah Newcomb of Langely, BC; four children, Barbara (Gordon) White of California, Elizabeth (John) Anonby of Langley, BC, Audley (Sandy) Newcomb of Prince George, BC, Elden (Isabel) Newcomb of Baltimore, ON; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three nieces, Charlotte Lowe, Joan (Bill) Steeves and Marsha (Rick) Frans; his sister, Gertrude Porter, of Moncton, NB has since passed away on April 21, 2004. He worked as a stationary engineer from 1941-1984, spending 17 years with the RCAF and in civilian life latterly. A memorial service was held on January 10, 2004 at Christian Life Assembly, Langley, BC.
