Dorilla LeBlanc
Dorilla LeBlanc 1914 - 2005 Miss Dorilla LeBlanc, 90, of Church Court, Moncton, passed away Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born October 3, 1914 in SaintAnselme, she was the daughter of the late Blaise "Bliss" and Elmire (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. After the death of her mother at a very young age, she was raised by her paternal grandparents Maurice and Rosalie (Bourque) LeBlanc whom she loved very much. Before her retirement, she was employed as a shoe salesperson with National Shoe Store, Bata Shoes, and Creaghan's. Dorilla is survived by her sister, Cécile Arsenault (late Cloris) of Shediac; Godson, Yvon (Francine) LeBlanc; cousins, Raymond (Lise) and Simonne LeBlanc-McCarthy (Bill); several nieces, nephews, and other cousins. A sister, Violet LeBlanc also predeceased her. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of departure (1:50). The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Saint-Anselme Cemetery, Dieppe.
