Charles E. Cloutier 1953 - 2005 COCAGNE, NB - Charles E. Cloutier, 51, of Cocagne, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Anita (née: Boutot) Cloutier. Chef and owner of the Auberge Eymet Inn in Cocagne, where he shared his dream of innkeeper with his wife Raymonde, Charlie was passionate about his daily work and never missed the opportunity to chat with his clients and friends about cooking, great food, music and the beauty of life. Charlie was a member of the Canadian Federation of Culinary Chefs and the founding president of "Les Mijoteux Gourmands de l'Acadie". A lover of life, he enjoyed his work, his music and being a part time philosopher. Mr. Cloutier is survived by his wife, Raymonde (née: de Grandpré); one daughter, Anne-Geneviève (Stephen) Kristoff of Valpariso, Indiana; one son, Pierre-Francois of Cocagne; one sister, Mona (Randy) Lacey of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Marc of Cocagne; one niece, Jessica; two nephews, Nicholas and Michael as well as several friends in Moncton and throughout the country. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, June 23, from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday, June 24, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 11 am. No flowers by request, donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, the Canadian Diabetes or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Even though Charlie has left this earth, the warmth of his person will have left its mark forever!
