Douglas A. Hicks Douglas A. Hicks, 70, of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital in the presence of his family on Wednesday, June 22, 2005. Born in Sackville, son of the late Lance and Florence (Allen) Hicks. Doug was a retired salesman who loved antique cars and enjoyed attending antique car showcases, flea markets and spending time in Florida. First and foremost, Doug's family was very near and dear to him. Doug will be sadly missed by his wife of over 33 years, Monie (Beal) Hicks; his son, Shawn (Allyson), Ottawa, ON; mother-in-law, Shirley Beal, Riverview; sisters, Allean White (Howard), Amherst, NS, Penny Lennerton (Tom), Bedford, NS; sister-in-law, Doris Hicks, Moncton; brother, Harold (Ruth), Moncton; several nieces and nephew. Predeceased by one sister, Alva; one brother, Ken. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995), Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
