Joan Violet Cummins 1934 - 2005 The death of Joan Violet Cummins, widow of Chester Cummins, of Henderson St. Riverview, occurred on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Nottingham, Wales; on August 29, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie Rebecca Paulson. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a very active volunteer with the Riverview Food Bank, as well with the Mental Health Association Agoraphobia Group. She enjoyed gardening and was active with the Horticultural Society. She was a member of the Senior Bowling League in Moncton and for many years she helped her husband, Chester, by delivering newspapers. She also attended Trinity United Church in Riverview. She will be sadly missed by her sons David (Lana) of Riverview and Paul (Joyce) of Moncton; her three grandchildren Cody, Sam and Julie; her sister Anne Sellon of Calgary and her "third child" Scottie. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street Moncton with visiting hours on Thursday, June 30, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Her funeral will be on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 2 pm in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home followed by a reception in the reception room of the funeral home.
