Reginald Mitton SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Reginald Mitton, age 88, of Fairfield, NB occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 4, 2005. Born in Fairfield, he was a son of the late Arthur and Medora (Crossman) Mitton. A veteran of World War II he served in the Canadian Army in England and Continental Europe. He was a member of the Sackville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Reg was a former employee with Enamel & Heating Ltd. Reginald will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Hazel Card, Fairfield; a daughter, Linda (Robert) Bourque, Sackville; 3 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a stepdaughter, Dorothy (Gerald) Phinney, Sackville; a stepson, Wayne (Alice) Crossman, Winnipeg, MN; six step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eunice Mitton and a niece, Debbie Bourgeois. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie (Mitton) and a brother William, an infant son and a step son Arnold. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 2 pm, Chaplain Allan Sears officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery. Sackville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a memorial service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:30. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
