Curtis W. Trites Curtis W. Trites, 77, of Moncton passed away peacefully with his family by his side at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 4, 2005. Born in Lutes Mountain, son of the late Whitfield and Corena (Briggs) Trites. Curtis was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator at Moncton Crushed Stone with over 25 years service. He was an adherent of Hillside Baptist Church and a member of the Lutes Mountain Heritage Foundation. He enjoyed music, spending time at the family cottage on the Richibucto River. He also loved the outdoors, cutting the winter wood and spending time in the sugar woods. Curtis will be sadly missed by his wife of over 52 years, Juanita (Neta) (Trites) Trites; his children, Ian (Marilyn), Lutes Mountain, Roxanne Bernard (John), Lutes Mountain, Wendy Legassie (Glen), Kapuskasing, ON; grandchildren, Jody-Lea (Travis), Clinton, Ryan, Sean, Nathan; sisters, Irene Trites, Stilesville, Arletta Edgar (Eldon), Moncton; brother, Marshall (Phyllis), Moncton; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) Trites, Moncton; special aunt, Mildred (Mid) Lutes (Bowley), Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother , Neil (1997). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Thursday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, July 8, 2005, 11am. Rev. Jerry Reddy officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Stilesville United Church Cemetery.
