James Herbert VanBuskirk MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. James Herbert VanBuskirk of Miramichi, NB, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 65. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Edith (Adams) VanBuskirk. Jim operated an accounting business for many years in Newcastle. He was a member of Kinsmen Newcastle and K-40 and the St Anthony Gun Club. Jim had a great love for the Miramichi, and the outdoors fishing, hunting, and boating. His sense of humor and love of practical jokes will not be forgotten. He was very proud of his three children and four grandchildren. He will always be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Amanda VanBuskirk (Archie) of Miramichi, Andrea VanBuskirk of PEI; one son, Anthony (Shelly) of Douglastown; one sister, Janice Lutes of Moncton; one brother, Robert (Sharron) of Moncton; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents. Mr. James VanBuskirk is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Feltmate officiating. Burial will follow in Miramichi Cemetery. At the request of the family, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Region 7 Hospital Foundation or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
