Mrs. Rhoda J. MacDonald
Mrs. Rhoda J. MacDonald 1918 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Rhoda Jessie MacDonald, wife of Mark MacDonald, of Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at the age of 87. Born in Black River Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Inez (MacDonald) MacDougall. She was a homemaker; a former employee of Lantic Sugar, in Saint John and Delta Electronics, in Toronto. She was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Black River Bridge. She is survived by her husband, Mark; one daughter, Joyce Williams, of Toronto, ON; one sister, Katherine Westcott, of Miramichi; two brothers, Lawrence MacDougall (Garlene) and Willard MacDougall, all of Black River Bridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Louise Keoughan, Doris MacDougall, Verne Horton, Stella Nevers, Iva Henderson; five brothers, George, Harold, Alexander, Bud and John MacDougall. Visiting was held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, today, Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 2 pm, conducted by Sandy Sutherland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Black River Cemetery Fund or any charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
