Joseph "Joe" M. Richard Sackville, NB - The death of Joseph M. Richard, age 81, of Sackville, occurred on Monday, July 25, 2005 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Upper Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late Maximilian and Zoe (Arsenault) Richard. He was employed with the Department of Transportation for 18 years. He loved to garden and spend time outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Bertha LeBlanc; his son, Roger, Sackville; and daughters, Jeannette (Allan) Richard, Sackville and Joanne (Irois) Cormier, Cap-Pele; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Adelore, St. Joseph, Emile (Doris), Sackville; two sisters, Edna Legere, Sackville and Alvina (Roger) Gravel, Montreal. He was predeceased by two brothers, Tilman and Rene and two sisters, Alice and Hazel. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 11 am. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
