Alfreda "Freda" Gertrude Quick 1921-2005 Freda Quick of Riverview, NB passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton on Monday, July 25, 2005, after a long illness. Born Alfreda Gertrude Bowland, on July 23, 1921, in Jeffries Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Bowland and Agusta (Armstrong) Bowland. She is survived by her three sons, Brian (Kathy) of Sault Ste. Marie ON., Michael (Gisele) of Bradford ON., Paul (Jeannette) of Richardson Deer Island; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Spencer, Chanelle, Michelle; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special niece and nephew, Carolyn and David Proctor of Riverview and their two sons, Bradley (Sara) and Matthew. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; as well as a sister, Helen Proctor of Sussex. Freda and her husband Ken of 55 years, chose to live, work and play in New Brunswick. They lived a full life. Along the way, Freda touched the lives of many; in Campbellton, Bathurst, St. Martins, Sussex, Riverview and beyond. She will be missed. Her remains have been forwarded to Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530), 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton for cremation. A memorial service will be held at Saint Marks Anglican Church in Sussex Corner, on August 3, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home or the charity of the donor's choice.
