Alban Maillet Alban Maillet, 94, of Cleveland Avenue, Riverview, passed away Thursday July 28, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born April 19, 1911 in Cap-Lumière, he was the son of the late François and Annie (Richard) Maillet. Alban was a milkman prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Rosie (Maillet) Maillet; two daughters, Ginette Saulnier (Roger) of Riverview, Maria Daigle (Vincent) of Halifax; five grandchildren, Diane, Denise, Vince, Teresa, Nicole; eight great-grandchildren, Corey, Brett, Kyle, Sara, Sean, Brandon, Grant Alban, and Elia. He was the last survivor of his immediate family. Two brothers, Richard and Hector; three sisters, Leah, Marguerite, and Anita predeceased him. No visitation by request. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2005 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Dominion Street, Moncton, Rev. Yvon Cormier officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. At the request of the family, memorial donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
