Raymond Bastarache SHEDIAC, NB - Raymond Bastarache, 81, husband of the late of Anne-Marie Babineau (1992), of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2005 at the Villa Providence following a lengthy illness. Born on May 18, 1924, in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Francois Bastarache and Rosalie Nowlan. He was a Taxi Driver for 30 years and attended the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. He is survived by his two daughters, Gloria LeBlanc (Bernard) and Louise Bastarache (Roger) both of Bouctouche; one son, Roger of Bouctouche; two sisters, Marie Maillet (Laurie) and Sophie Basque (Adélard) both of Bouctouche; four grandchildren, Jocelyne, Denis, Paulette, and Dominique; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Anne-Marie, he was predeceased by two brothers, Edvard and Aubrey. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de L'église, Bouctouche with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 2 pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
