Pearl Eileen Goodwin 1939 - 2005 SACKVILLE, N.B.- The death of Pearl E. Goodwin, age 66, of Sackville, N.B. occurred on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born on May 1, 1939, in Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Elena (Scott) Cole. Pearl loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo and was a past member of the Chignecto Wagoneers Association. Pearl will be sadly missed by her eight children, Wayne (Lisa) Goodwin, Eileen (Dan) Winton, Vara (Ron) Driscoll, Darlene (Jeff) Dixon, Ila (Ray) Gallant, Karen (Brian Leblanc) Goodwin, Art (Trish) Goodwin and Walter (Denine) Goodwin; three brothers, LeRoy "Bud" (Marie) Cole, Alan (Donna) Cole and Oscar (Juanita) Cole; uncle Robert Scott; special friend, Caroline Goodwin; 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband, W. Eldon Goodwin; brother, Russell Cole; two sisters in infancy and her grandson, Walter Dixon. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 2 PM from the funeral home with Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery. A time of fellowship and remembrance will be shared following the burial at the Sackville Fire Department Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the charity of one's choice.
