Eric LeBlanc 1921 - 2005 SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Eric LeBlanc, 81, husband of Léona (Léger) LeBlanc, of Foyer Saint-Antoine, Saint-Antoine, NB passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the Foyer Saint-Antoine, Saint-Antoine de Kent, NB following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Antoine, NB on April 2, 1924, he was the son of the late Irènée LeBlanc and Régina Breau. He was employed as a carpenter for 24 years at the Université de Moncton and attended Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine. He was a former Saint-Antoine volunteer fireman for 16 years, former Saint-Antoine Caisse Populaire Member Director, a member of the Saint-Antoine Golden Age Club, and and a former member of the Golden Age Club Executive. Besides his wife, Léona LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine, he is survived by three daughters, Claudette Cormier, Rosemonde Léger (Paul-Emile), both of Saint-Antoine and Nicole Robichaud (Laurie) of Saint-Marie de Kent; two sons, Bernard (Barbara) of SainteAntoine and Jacques (Angella) of Bouctouche; nine sisters, Juliette Léger (feu Alban), Edmée Arsenault (Désiré), Edith Léger (Léon-Guy) all of Saint-Antoine, Alice Léger (Vital), Irène Nowlan (Jim), Jeannine LeBlanc (Ulysse), all of Moncton, Florence Paradis (Adelin) of Montréal, Imelda Jean (Jacques) of Boucherville, QC and Lucie LeBlanc of Bolton, MA; one brother, Gerard (Leona) of Moncton; six grandchildren, Julien, Annick, Daniel, Isabelle, Pierre, and Gabriel; also by several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one sister, Lina (Ernest Robichaud) and one brother, Yvon (Odila). Remains resting at Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine, NB with visitation on Friday, August 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Saturday from 9 to 10:45am. Funeral Service at SaintAntoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine, NB on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11:00am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
