Ruth Mildred "Jean" Ross Anderson March 11, 1928 - August 14, 2005 Mrs. Jean (Ross) Anderson R.N., widow of Wallace P. Anderson, peacefully passed away on August 14, 2005 at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Nursing Home, Salisbury, NB. Born in Oak Point, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Colin C. and Laura (MacKnight) Ross. Wally and Jean lived their family life in Newcastle and enjoyed their retirement in Burnt Church, N.B. Forever in their hearts, Jean is survived by her children, Alan L. (Simone) of Moncton, N.B. and Heather (Grant) Wood of Harrisonburg, Virginia. "Grams" cherished Grandson, Matthew Wood of Virginia; and Granddaughters, Sylvie Theriault and France Theriault of Moncton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean is also survived by her sisters, Rena (Neil) Savoy of Burnt Church and Catherine (Doug) Zorn of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Colin and Laura; Brother, Oakley and Sister, Marion. Jean enjoyed many years of service in the Operating Room at Miramichi Hospital and was a member of the Retired Nurses Association as well as the Miramichi Hospital Nurses Alumni. Visitation will be at Davidson's Funeral Home in Miramichi, Tuesday, August 16, 2005 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Service to be held in Chapel of Davidson's Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 2pm. Interment at Burnt Church Cemetery following service. The excellence and dedication shown in the care given mother during these past five years is sincerely and deeply appreciated and we know that there were many times of happiness mutually shared.
