Edith Edgar PLASTER ROCK, NB - Edith Jane Edgar, 83, of Plaster Rock and formerly Boundary Creek passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Edmunston Regional Hospital. Born at Canaan Station, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Ada (Larsen) Hicks. A homemaker in her earlier years, she clerked at the former Woolworths Department store in Moncton. Edith was a beloved mother and grandmother, and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Plaster Rock. She will be sadly missed by her children, Charles (Julia), Glen (Opal), Linda Steeves (George) all of Plaster Rock, Harold (Dale) of Moncton, Richard and Reginald of Salisbury, Carol Marks (Ralph) of Berry Mills, Leslie of Aulac; a sister, Christina Meade, Ottawa; twenty four grandchildren; fifty three great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Charles; son, Hiltzson; sisters, Frances Palmer, Edna Howe, Cora Cook; brother, Ivan Hicks; and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Edgar. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be Friday, August 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dana McKillop officiating.
