William J. Richard JEMSEG, NB - The death of William J. Richard of Jemseg, NB occurred Friday, August 26, 2005 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Minto, he was the son of the late John and Lizzanne Richard. William is survived by his wife, former Agnes Gallant; a son, Terrence of Havelock; two daughters, Lynn Pickett of Jemseg and Brenda DeMerchant of Woodstock; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two brothers, Gerald of Bouctouche and Fred Melanson of Toronto; two sisters, Irene Saunders of Fredericton, Jeannie Doherty of St. Marys; a deceased brother, Edmond. He was employed with Miramichi Mines in Minto, before working with Canada Cement in Havelock, NB, from which he retired after 36 years. He had served in the North Shore Armed Forces and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 86, Havelock. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 with visiting Saturday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 28, 2005 from the Parker Memorial Chapel of the Minto Funeral Home with Paster Kaj Binderup officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
