Bruce MacFarlane 1940 - 2005 Bruce MacFarlane, of Riverview, passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of 65 years. Bruce was a retired school teacher, principal, and guidance counsellor. Bruce is survived by his wife, Rena MacFarlane; his father, Everett MacFarlane; daugthter, Leanne MacFarlane of Tantallon, Nova Scotia; son, Mark MacFarlane of Riverview; three stepchildren Cheryl Leahy of Moncton, Jamie Doyle of Riverview, Jeffrey Doyle of Edmonton, Alberta; brother, Donnie (Liz) MacFarlane of Moncton; also by six grandchildren and numerous friends. Bruce is predeceased by his mother, Jessie Christie MacFarlane. Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Riverview on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating.
